lowering my 172......

Car  02 reg one.
hi i want to lower my 172....not sure by how much though and where i could get springs from for best prices?

anyone? help?

not sure how much lower to go? 25? 30? 40?

if anyone could upload pic's that would be awesome....=] and say how low you have lowerd yours....
 
i've lowered mine one eibach sportline springs. i think its about a 25-30 mm drop.

i think they cost about £150 ish.
 
Mines on H&R coilovers, approx 50mm drop.

Yep they are expensive, worth every penny though imho.

These are the ONLY springs that you can buy that go 40mm lower. All the dearer springs only drop 25/35mm.

Not mine. It was a mates but he sold it about 2 years ago. f**k knows where it is now!
 
It won't rub but it will drive like a sack of s**t. It will tramline everywhere and be really crashy over bumps.

Stick with 16s imo.

okay will do lol i had 17s on my old clio...and that was slamed lol but that was just unreal just rubbed and scraped everywhere i went lol

by the way dude there's a group buy on in the for sale section on v-maxx coilovers.

£300 all in and they should lower up to 70mm

and new clio....need lowering;) think im going to go with the 40mm apex springs...?

not sure if i should put the wheels of my old clio on the 172 with the 40mm drop?
