Eibach Sportlines are good for the money or I think spax/apex (choclate springs) are even cheaper theres a few more clued up people on this than me though.

Ive heard that lowering on just springs and not putting in uprated shocks aswell is not the best way to go, but will do? What is meant by coilovers? Is that just a whole lowering kit, springs and shocks?

ive hear a few ppl say that if u lower car any more than 60mm u will need shocks but on a 30-40mm drop they will be fine

as you drop it more your putting more strain on the original shocks causing more stress wearing them out quicker, this is why it is recommended that when you go 50mm or lower you buy shocks or springs but many people have lasted many years without shocks

Spax 35mm gave a good drop and better handling, id recomend them, £80 from Demon tweeks.. u can fit the back 1's ur self not that hard and just get a garage to do the back job done .:)
