Lowering- whats best

Im wanting to lower my 1.4S (2000) by about 40mm. Originally I wanted to do this with shocks and springs but circumstances have changed and I cant afford that anymore so what are the best option.

http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=247Ktec springs at 40mm

http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=1045Eibachs at 30mm

or anything else people can think of for a similar price. I realise that the Ktec ones wont be as good but are they still decent?

Heres a http://erc.qmuc.ac.uk/cliosport/gallery/full/1077408291__Leftside.jpgpic of my car- Im also wondering if youd even notice 30mm drop as its a 4x4!

Thanks

John

im sure weve just discussed this and the best option for the bubble shape clios is 60mm, just looks too high with anything less

re: my car, still looked like a tractor when lowered 35mm

I know but Cliojohnlowered his 60mm and said id bounces all over the place and doesnt handle as well as it did so I was thinking of an alternative.

Im lowered 60mm, the wheels sit perfect in the arches now. I think any less than 60mm would still look a bit jacked up, the dowside is as you say - it bounces round a bit and if you run over a bit of gravel you risk spine injury.

60mm from K-tec. I highly recommend it. Mines lowered to this height and has given my clio a more purposful look aswell as improved the handling by a great deal. get it, you wont be dissapointed!!!!:D

Av_Dave!!!! thats my car on your avatar!!!!!! Cool haha!!!

you just need to get the tracking done after lowering, no need for camber bolts
