Ive only had my mac 4 months and already my battery performance is dropping from its original state.

How do you maintain your battery?
I tend to use it on battery the most and charge it when it goes red, I use sleep during the day if im not using it and shut down at night.

Says I have more capacity now than it did at new :S
Doesnt last long now though tbh, the fans are on all the time because there probably clogged up with dust. Need to take it to bits and clean it out really.

Must be summat wrong with the battery.
Mines over 2 years old and that apps saying its 100%, dont really believe that though.

What the "Loadcylcles" ? How many times its been charged?

My battery has been bad since new, not bothered to take it back yet!

yeh a load cycle is how many times the battery has used a full charge.
but it dosent mean from full to empty in one go.
say it went down to 50% then charged up, then went back down to 50% again, that would be one charge.

My MB battery life has always been good. Lasts for ages, regularly get over 4 hours using wifi/youtube/music

93% after 9 months, 77 loadcycles? Mine's plugged in pretty much constant TBH.
