all done and dusted The 2 bolts holding the CAT to the manifold were welded to the plate under the heat of the manifold! So took it to RapidFit they charged me £20 and it only took them 25 mins.

Sounds the tits now and goes much better with the de-cat in place! Throttle response is much better too! Just need a forced air IK now, PBV and chip! then it will be va va voooommm!

What are them ectotek thingies like?

As i wanna buy either a PBV, IK or a ecotek thing tonight after work!

Which should i buy first? Do i need to get the car set-up with any of these things?

Ecotek is crap I believe, dont bother.

Id get either a replacement panel filter or a closed IK.
