Bearings look perfect. I'd say it's a pretty big waste of time to do a rebuild and not replace them though.
The sealer is liquid gasket. Be generous with it, and make sure you add some into the bottom corners of the block where that bearing cap fits to. This is where they ALL leak from after rebuilds
Thanks mate. Appreciated. My thoughts exactly, though this block is more of a strip down to check it's OK, the other will be rebuilt with new bits.
Don't suppose you know the torque settings for main bearing bolts and big end bolts do you, finding this info is a nightmare. They weren't that tight tbh.
