make 172 cup faster

Hi ive recently bought a clio 172 cup as abit of a toy as I had one years ago an always loved it I like to no peoples ideas on how to make it as fast as possible I not bothered about putting money into it aslong as I see god results any help would be appricated thanks

Turbo would be the biggest bang for buck IMO.

Turbo or just except it for what it is. N/A route needs a lot of work to see serious power and works best with a fair bit of weight loss. A basic turbo conversion will see that power and keep the car as a feasible daily.

hi thanks for the replies is it worth getting a de cat pipe induction kits ect? and any idea how much a turbo kit would be ive seen some clios with over 300 bhp

Decats and inductions kits sadly will make bugger all difference because its NA, only way to get a lot of power is a Turbo - throttle bodies will make it a LOT more drivable, but wont give you the power you want.

Check out ClioTurbo on here, they do drive in and drive out kits - a lot of decent reviews :]
