Car  fabia vrs
wanted to turn my 1.2 extreme in 2 a 172 rep !!!!!
Was going to fit side skirts, wings, front bumper and rear !!!
Does anybody know if they will bolt stright on please also any ideas what else would look good to go with the rest of the kit ???? thankz
 
i made a 172 replica..... cost me a fortune, i regret it really, a lot of money wasted. sold it a while ago... for 5k, was a 1.4 16v

I would wait for the real thing. I had a 1.2 corsa which i did up slighttly for 3 and half years then got a 172. no regrets at all.

seems like a good idea at the time but if i went back i would of just bought coilovers and wheels and left it at that and saved
 
But if you revert back to standard come sale time, you lose practically nothing as the parts could be sold on.

BTW, she's still looking well Josh. I've been expecting a tribal sun strip to appear as there is a poorly kitted Corsa that parks outside the same house as the Clio and it's covered in the tat.
 
The best thing about 172 replicas is that you get absolutely destroyed at the lights by real 172s and it makes them feel really good about themselves, but you just laugh cos your cool like

But real 172's get destroyed by my 1.2 at the lights ;). Does that make them cooler than me?
 
Nah you'd still be cool cos you'd know whats going down, you got it all in your head, its when people dont know.. thats when they got problems, thats when they are not cool...

LOL. Mine is actually a 172 but badged a 1.2 so it throws a spanner in the works a little.

There's nothing better than circa 190bhp badged as a 1.2 battering a genuine 172/182.
 
Wont you have to declare the 'mods' to an insurance Co - premium will be higher than a std 1.2.

Wouldnt bother, save your cash and buy one when you can..
 
i dont regret mine at all :D its what a first car is for in my opinion....enjoyment :)

I feel your pain man, ive been tempted to get some 1.2 badges but i dont like confusing the poor stock 182 owners when i light them right up...
