I'm 32, soon to be 33. I haven't had a hot hatch since I was 24 and pleased to own one again. Espescially since it's one of the finest through the bends.

Bought my 182 Cup as I could afford to use it for my job, 100 miles usually every day.

Although a light weight kit car will be the main performance tool soon enough.

my dad had my car for a day last weekend and couldnt keep up with my uncle in his 1.6 astra lol hes used to driving a turbo diesel tipper though which doesnt have the widest power band in the world LOL theres still no excuse!

I'm over 32 as well....at the end of the day we're the people that can run Clio RS without having to pay £2000 odd a year insurance

Bloke at my work's 55 and drives a 172 FF, pretty rapid driver too, he claims it takes him back to the days of barreling round the country roads at 3am looking for the next checkpoint in his Astra GSI

When I went to the Ring the first time, there was a guy (must've been 70+) with a 500bhp Supra staying at the same place.

I don't care how nice the car is, people that old DONT have the reactions or wits to play with proper cars imo. Though he didn't pretend to so it's alright, I think he said that he was doing 9 minute laps or there abouts (pretty downright shocking for anything with 500bhp).

My missus is 30, she drives the 182 more than me she loves it.You will be 30 one day, its happens very quickly after 21, Ive still got 18mnths yet!.

I second that, my missus is 25 and she drives the 182 more than me as i commute on the fricking cattle truck (train) ever morning. I'm 29 :S

My old 172 belonged to a 60 year old chap... at least that is what the salesman told me anyway.

There were a couple of oldies at the Spa trip, mostly with V6's.
