The ClioSport Brands Hatch shot has been in a number of Clio Cup race day magazines.
I only knew it was ClioSport as another member told me

Im not an expert on pgti (Only bought it a few times) but basically its a BIT like max power,minus the t#ts, in terms of articles on peoples cars and the mods they made to the engine or sometimes body, but the cars are actual performance gtis eg. 172 or 206 GTI or Cupras etc and not 1.1 saxos with bodykits pritt-sticked on?
Its a grown up max power IMHO only better. Have some good track day stuff too if i remember.
How about we try and get a feature on the club in "Warranty Lovers Weekly"!?
Or "Old Stuck Up Narrow Minded Standard Car Driving Losers Monthly"??
...certainly seem to fit the image of this club far greater!!
And before any of you flame me no im not a little ratmonkey scrote whos been on a Ripspeed trolley dash in my 1 litre!!

As far as Max Power goes, I think a name change for the club would be necessary before wed really fit in...itd have to be "ClioShow.net".
Ive bought it occasionally in the past and I find it incredulous that they preach to the gullible (no offence to anyone intended) that to make your car handle youve got to "drop it at least 100mmm and whack some 19s on it"...then in the same sentance they say that itll be "guranteed to get the honeys dripping"...exactly what are they trying to do?
As far as I can tell...its all about looks, ICE, and noise. I joined ClioSport cause it seems to be about the sport and driver enjoyment side of things...which really doesnt fit in with Max Power.

A lot of people on here have done a lot to shake off the Max Power image, and so have the local car moders in my area to convince the police that they are not Max Power louts....and lets face it, its the whole Max Power created persona that sucks, its not a case of being open or closed minded, I really couldnt care less about the tits and ass or the bolt on trolley bits....its just not me, so I just keep away from it.

being seen (and thats even if we win!!!) in max power is not goin to change anything but maybe get some more younger members maybe!
theres nothin wrong with that at all cos there isnt that many young moddin members on here like i like to think myself! so would be cool to have some more! its nice to have a range of members i think!

Notice how when we go to car shows we put our most modified cars at the front of the stand? That cos people dont go to car shows to look at standard 172s!! If they wanted to do that they could go to a car park ffs!!! lol
If you want to protect ClioSports warranty loving standard car driving image why even have stands at modified car shows?! They are organised by the Demons at MaxP etc anyway!!!
...or is it because cliosport has a number of members who like to modify their cars and read max power - and arnt "Max Power Louts"!!?
i think its nice havin a mixture of members! you wont always get on with everyone anyway so it wont cause any problems!
i think its a shame how ppl have reacted to this! surely its nice to have more and more new members! more to talk to and more to meet up etc!

Who said anything about not liking modded cars?? Ive started modding mine and intend to continue, and yes I always go and look at other modded cars.
Its the reputation that goes with Max Power that shouts "Im a sexist sad idiot" that is the first thing a lot of people think when you say Max Power.
Max Power is the Jerry Springer of car mags, mildly entertaining but I dont want to be part of the show!!!!!
