A 1.7 puma is a very good car.

agree on puma being better than you'd think if you haven't driven one... they're suprisingly fun. though still think they look a touch feminine.
unless you're standing there watching them, i can imagine a lot of mechanics drive the knackers off their customers' cars if given a chance.
I'd ask for an independant inspection before they start any work.
Who's to know there's not suspension or shell damage?
If there is and you don't get it found out until after you've got it back, they'll just tell you it must have been your fault after they'd fixed it and you can't prove a thing.
