Post 31, the others have been removed. Can't find it on YouTube.
You don't need it, the vid works as it is. No log in etc.Don't use FB.
Probably the only time it would be worth having.
No FB links have ever worked on CS.You don't need it, the vid works as it is. No log in etc.
Dunno mate, I just clicked on the go button & it worked. I don't have FB either. No FB links have ever worked on CS.
Always prompts me for a login on website.
For those who have missed it. From looking at the above pics, the car looks to have stood up well. Wouldn't fancy that sort of smash in an AX GT!
On a tablet/mobile?Why does my web browser prompt me for a fb login all the time? Anyone know?
I don't have FB and the video worked fine for me.
£20k+ mistake right there.
Hope the occupants were ok
On mobile. Using Google chrome.On a tablet/mobile?
PC/Laptop should just embed it in the post. No need to go to Facebook.
Bloody hell, that was painful to watch. At first it looked like he'd get away with scraping the barrier and then it launched!!
Hope the occupants are ok.
Out of interest I know it costs money to crash at the ring (from the track charges) but roughly how much for that crash there?
Sh*t a brick!! That's one hell of a pile of sand and recovery truck.I'm not sure, but to put it into perspective... We went this year and my mates turbo blew and it pissed oil out for a couple of hundred yards, and they recovered the car and cleared up the mess. No damage to car or circuit. = £2000
I'd say 10k track charges alone before you take the car into considerationBloody hell, that was painful to watch. At first it looked like he'd get away with scraping the barrier and then it launched!!

Armco was at one point in time €60 per mtr to replace at the ring. The Armco is also 3 high in some of the big accident hotspots.Bloody hell, that was painful to watch. At first it looked like he'd get away with scraping the barrier and then it launched!!

Standard UK insurance no longer covers the 'ring as they've got wise to it. They haven't done for the past 10 or so years. You can get specialist cover though through some companies.Wow, did not realise the cost of it going wrong at the ring. I doubt the charges have got better, wasn't the ring about to go bust a while ago? It's probably got more expensive!! Stupid question but does your insurance cover that cost?

In the 10+ years that I've been going I've only had 1 close call and that involved a blind entry/exit in a vxr Astra at 100mph and a coach. Full of school kids on a day trip. They were happily waving to me completely oblivious to the fact they could see that my eyes were on stalks and I was taking evasive action. Took to the grass, got a bit of a tank slapper and then rejoined the circuit. If there was ever a video to put me off going there, that would do it.
Apart from a badly needed dent man, what was the outcome
Very lucky to walk away!Have watched it a few times now. So lucky to walk away from that.
@NorthloopCup let me know when your free on a weekend btw. Need to sort this clunk out
