Megane Trophy, yes please

Spotted my first 225 Trophy today, wow! Press shots really do not do this car justice, the paint with those absolutely gorgeous wheels looks absolutely stunning. Was never sure about the colour before as I really like the 225 in Inferno, but the new paint has a subtle yet stylish thing going for it which looks great.

Makes you wonder what the Clio Trophy would look like with a similar paint job and wheels. Anyone fancy getting a full respray and new wheels and letting us know?!

I drove the Megane Trophy at Brands a week last Friday. Very nice car, certainly quick though too quite to be able to tell what the engine was doing. Felt a lot like a large Clio only with less steering feel. I was very impressed with it.

I have a standard 225 in Inferno and have just ordered a set of the Trophy wheels, will post pics when they are on the car.

Craig how much were the trophy wheels (from renault??) if you dont mind?

I saw one in the showroom at wkend, brakes are huuge!

Wheels are £208 + VAT, plus £6 for a centre cap (according to Craigs post in the Other Place). Then you need to find some tyres. Loads of money, but they do look good.

isnt it just titanium like the 182 anyway?

That is correct Mike - pretty damn expensive!!!!, but there are nearly no options on the 225 as far as after market wheels go so they are cheaper than the alternatives.

It pays to know someone at Renault who can get some discount for you!!!!!

All in (wheels and tyres) I am going to be £1200.

Seen one in show room in Milton Keynes, loved it but wait a few months and price will come down.
