Melted panel

Had a cardboard type air freshener hanging on the centre of my dash.
Removed it yesterday only to find it has melted the top coat from the panel above the stereo.
Ive gone over it since this pic with a dashboard wipe...
It has smoothed away the top coat now but im going to have to do it on the whole panel and hope it looks ok...
Does this panel come out easily enough?

Its f*cked, solvent has damaged that crap rubberised coating they put on it, you'll need to strip it completely and paint it, but id just get a used one.

Do you know if it pulls out when you remove the stereo

It pulls out on its own mate, you could leave stereo in, depends on your loom sometimes they are short the wires for the hazard switches..

Never had anything like that happen before.
It was a freebie from the place I got my car mats from....
