metal polishing guide please

does any one know were there is a metal polishing guide as i have a dremel and im wanting to polish my plenum throttle bodie and fuel rail cover and was wanting to know were to start as in what attachments to use and what sort of compounds to use

Cheers for that would i use the dremel to sand or best off leaving the dremel out

dont bother with a dremel. one thing you can use is a plastic sanding wheel(like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/POLY-DISC-PAI..._CarParts_SM&hash=item3f00f16478#ht_500wt_928) then the polising stage. i used it on mine and was loads faster than the orbital sander.
