metal shavings inside inlet manifold any ideas?

hey guys ,

ive got a phase 2 clio sport, i was driving along and engine made a noise and cut out, towed it home .

got as far as taking the inlet manifold off and its full of metal shavings.

just wondered if anyine had come across this before and may have a clue as to what it may be.

Most likely cause though. This seems to be going round at the minute with F4's
