Micks Mk1 Clio.



  Mk1 1.4 8v 80BHP
Shes a 1.4 8v RT 80Bhp.

Ive been wanting an Original Mk1 Clio for awhile now, all she needed was a little TLC, Check her out.

Woke up the morning after i bought her and give her a quick wash.

First thing first, She needed lowered, So called upon the help of hammy and his laptop, Google'd how to lower a torsion bar, And 20 mins later she was lowered!

Hammy breakin Wheel nuts.

Wire brushed and sprayed the drums while i was there, Primed then a good top coat.

Hammy lowered it 3 clicks at the back, And 60mil springs in the front.

Job done, All in around an hour, Then he took her up for road for a wash at the garage.

Gave the front end a quick polish today as it was dull.

Turned out well.

Plans are to get a de-cet and a middle section with no silencer, Then maybe an ashley back box.

After that maybe think of getting a different set of wheels, Although im starting to like the mk1 Champs on her.

Do hope the brake drums are not still bright red:(
Other then that I think that's one of the best MK1 colours they made.
Also still with original Ph2 champs elysees Alloys :D

No that was the hi-build primer mate, Yeah is the car a ph2 then, Im not sure.

Im learning as a i go lol, What do you think of the Champs alloys?

We all start some where with new cars, Yes its a phrase 2.
Also I like them alloys suit the car just perfect.
 
Do you know much about how the Champs Eyleese model is different from the other ph2s?

Indeed I do :) Well all I really noticed between the Champs and the normal Ph2's is the champs came with alloys, also i've noticed alot of the champs i work on have a front anti roll bar. but some of the other RT Ph2s don't But that could just be the engine sizes

i wouldant bother with a de-cat it makes them slower (been there tride it and it dousant work)
