About 75% of the way through this, really enjoying it, will finish it over the weekend.

Started it last night, so far seems decent.

Re: a Plagues Tale, the old one was very good, until a glitch at the end one Xbox Series X with the shooting mechanic. Couldn’t aim with the f**king slingshot, 100+ attempts I rage quit and uninstalled.

Will definitely play the new one at some point.

If you like A Plagues Tale, Hellblade is also well worth playing.

Love the humour and gunplay in this. As a Rick and Morty fan so this is right up my street.

Yeah spent a fair amount of time on it. Love the exploration side and how the map feels properly thought out unlike most survival games I've played where it's just randomly generated.

The pond area is probably my favourite bit but you need all the breathing equipment!

I don't mind building bases but equipment maintenance does get annoying at times. Eventually you just learn what you need in stock to do it quickly.

Also I was playing it coop with my gf. She seemed to enjoy making/fixing stuff so I left her to it. 😁👍

f**k you High on Life, I was doing alright, 4 guns got my jet pack and then it did some sort of Glitch and stuck me in the Clone Muncher room and now I can't seem to do anything. If I try last checkpoint it just sends me there and I think I'm stuck. I reckon its the bounty geezer the Skenrdrel Bros but he never appears.

Try uninstalling the game and reinstalling without deleting your save file.

Decided to finally make use of the game pass ultimate 'hack' and stack up 3 years of it now I've got myself a Series X. 12 months gold currently going for £37.99 on CD Keys, and I had a tenner voucher on my PayPal account. Worked out at £3.20 a month for the next 3 years to get full GPU access. Bargain!

A little more expensive than it used to be, but still under 100 quid for 3 years.

Mine expires in 1 year from now I was looking at extending it but I believe I need to let it expire before I can do the gold to ultimate trick. Feels like it's been forever I only checked because I thought I was going to expire soon.

I believe you need to wait as it will stack too many.
The maximum stack is 36 months, so if you do it early, you’ll end up with over that and it wont convert from a gold to Ultimate.

Yes, you definitely need to wait for it to expire and don't do it on the same day, but it still works, my mate did it at weekend.

This is the way I did it...

Buy 9 x 3 month Xbox Live Gold codes from CDKeys, Eneba, etc, add each code separately and claim the free month every time for auto renewing, then turn it off before adding the next code. This will give you 9 free months effectively and get you up to 3 years of Xbox Live, which is the maximum you can stack for this to work.

Then it gives you the option to convert it all to Gamepass Ultimate for the cost of 1 month, which is £10.99 (it's £1 if you've not done this previously) and bingo, 3 years of Gamepass Ultimate normally costing £396 for around £100, bargain!

No VPN required, nothing dodgy and it definitely worked for me and loads of people I know.

Mine is about to expire, didn't quite do the full 3 years when I started this thread. Going to let it run out and redo this but for 3 years.

Can't believe this is still a thing, I thought they'd retire gold completely, or change the conversion ratio. I also feel super old, when I did this originally I remember thinking that's me sorted for ages now 😭
