Mildish mods for a 182 Cup with £1.5k ?

What are the best options to mildly tune a 50k 182 Cup that has an RS Tuning remap?

I've seen some packages from Ktec ( cams and induction kit etc ), but what would you do ? I never go on track, but was just thinking about spicing up the old girl.

Lots of cool noise. Makes it feel faster and more fun, don't expect huge power gains though.

Chip old boy, I think he meant 438's with induction kit. Not just induction kit on its own. Mine made 197bhp and countless others have made 190+. TDF have just done one with 438 cams that made 195bhp in case people continue to spread the myth K-tecs rollers aren't accurate.

Cams are certainly key to getting more power out of these engines, the standard ones are far too mild for high RPM which is obviously where you are going to find more peak power.

I can insure an Evo IX 320 for £780 and an R26.R for £599 !!!

You could be right. £16k v £1.5k but will probably get my money back on the R26.R after 12 months as there are very few for sale.

I know. But I'm not sure that to give up my beloved 182 for a standard R26 is a big enough leap to justify the expense. And the R is very special.
