Milltek centre section/sliencer

Evening all.

Does anyone know of a company that would remove the centre section/centre box on my 182 Milltek system?

De cat pipe arrived today and im fitting it tomorrow but have a horrible feeling it still wont be loud enough! Time will tell, but from videos they sound great without it and I love a bit of noise

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Anyone close to Nottingham'ish that can do this? I would like mine done but was told it wont change much.

was £80 i think but i kind of know them so i would be expecting to pay more. yes thats them the VAG guys

Jeeez. My local place charged me £30 to whip the middle box out. I wish I hadnt though

I had the cat enlarged to a 2 1/2 inch outlet in that price too.

Dont think it gives it power, just changes the sound slightly

Sorry to bring up an old thread, does anyone know if the centre silencer is used to create back-pressure? Or is it purely to reduce noise?
