Milltek with de-cat for clio 197

I'm thinking about ordering milltek exhaust system for my 197 so I have a few questions for all you engineering/exhaust guruus here :)

Should I go for the de-cat pipe and keep the middle silencer ... will it be too loud and are the gains of a de-cat worth all the more noise it will make?
The car is a daily drive so I don't want to turn on alarms when I pass by but I want a few more bhp and some pops and bangs.
The sports cat is way too expensive to consider so I wont be going down that route.

Will a de-cat make any flat spots cause i've heard of people loosing torque low down in the revs after a decat?
Cons and pros!?

Btw I know most of you don't like milltek cause they stick out the difusor but I'll have them cut to look like stock (slash cut) ;)

Any advices and experiences with de-cat are more than welcome.

Apparently Milltek's 197 system's isn't too amazing. Whereas their 182 is great (had one fitted to my old 182)

A lot of 197 owners have gone for the yozzasport exhaust, more expensive but you can be guaranteed that it won't melt your car's diffuser.

ive got a yozzasport system with de-cat fitted and no mid silencer!, and its not loud at all(probs about 20-30% louder than standard), just sounds awsome :D, and pops and bangs as well. mid range is a hell of a lot better and but the lower rev range is very flat (between 1k-3k, well thats wot i think) but anyything over 3k is fine.
IMHO deffo go for the yozza system

can we concetrate on the milltek please :D

@trailerparktrev - they melt the diffusor because they stick out (and they don't ALL melt, i think Jase has a milltek and no probs with it)... when i "chop" it to be slash cut - they won't melt anything ;)
I can't order any other exhaust because I can get milltek trough their dealership in my country for 660 pounds, and If I order yozzasport or KTR from the UK I'll have to pay more like 900 pounds and that's a no no
 
Aren't you happy in the way your 197 sounds? I personally think the standard exhaust note is fantastic. I'd rather spend my money on some black speedlines.

the note is good but it can be better. I want more pops and bangs and gurgles...and also to free up some bhp.
After milltek I'll prob get a maxogen or something, then a remap.

Why would you have to pay this much for one of our systems?

@ Homer, I live in Montenegro (look it up :boring: )

@Yozz, mattjk is right, the price includes shipping and in my country I have to add 17% of the value (like your VAT) to the price.And some other bits and pieces and it comes down to about 900 pounds.And then there's the fitting :(
