Whats making you go for a Map at Ed rather than a RS map mate?.
Whats making you go for a Map at Ed rather than a RS map mate?.
The Engine Dynamics map and dyno running is around £200 i'm sure which is a good price I think, I originally paid £250 to get mine mapped before locally and that wasn't done by a specialist who can maybe tweek it and wasn't rolling roaded like Andy and the guys can do!! Your both exactly the same as me however in regards to what you expect to get from it, as said, it's not about the power figures, but the drivability and responsiveness etc  It's N/A afterall! I hope to see a decent difference in mine although as said, it IS mapped already. But I didn't know much about these cars then, now I have a much better idea of companies and products to use. To be honest, with the mods and new map, i'll be happy if my 182 makes 180!
Looking good
Nice work mate, how much difference do you think the 182 manifold will do?.
Also whats next?:grimacing:
This really is coming on rather well now isn't it, great updates! :grimacing:
Interesting to hear the PMS review, might be tempted one day! Just not sure on how tall the gear lever/knob is but then having it higher up was really quite comfortable on my old Civic Type-R's!
lovely work matey as ever and love how this project is evolving and garnering focus  track car ftw ;-)
It's looking like a totally different car to the one on page 1! Awesome job bringing it back to life. And now it's receiving choice mods it truly is a newly cherished example. Respect to you sir[emoji106]
It makes a massive difference to the shift, a lot more direct and accurate, you can feel the shift a lot more a lot less vague. I was tempted by the BMS but a few people said go the whole hog and get the PMS so I did, also helped that one got offered to me and I got to test drive in a Ph1 first. My wife got in the car and said that looks ridiculous 😂 but it just feels in a great location, surprising how making it higher makes such a difference, would recommend it, if I ever meet you in real life you can give it a go
It's looking good mate and glad your happy with the gearbox
Spec list has to be done mate haha, like it
Looks a nice tidy cup this well done on the progress they are money pits haha. I've put nearly 4k into mine this year and I've not drove it for 2 years ha Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
I got my inspiration from your thread  and the fact I have it written down and I am going to lose it before to long and forget what has been done
