Always loved the RS500 (well pretty much any cosworth really) I remember the Texaco touring cars when I was younger, a friend had a remote control version.

  Shed.
I love most old Cosworth fords but ..

I presonally think this looks foul.

I do however apreciate the engine as, like all other engines made by cosworth it is an engineering master piece.

that is a 25k that makes sense.
I cannot beleive that people spend 25k+ on new cars when they cant really afford it and something like that will never really depreachiate if loved

I've looked at that before, it is indeed a beauty. I'd never buy it, because I wouldn't dare drive it, for fear of scraping it, popping it, or just putting wear and miles on it! It is an absolute masterpiece though as someone else said. It's one of those rare things that, the older it gets the cooler it gets.

It's the kinda thing though that some rich guy will buy, maybe for a spoilt, spoon-fed son, the kind that thinks his talent size is proportional to his wallet. So he'll pull out, whack it to full boost, nail it from cold and generally abuse it on each outing.

Then one day, probably not very long after buying it, it'll be damp or raining, he'll assume he can handle it, and it'll end up finishing it's life in a ditch, whilst the spawny t**t owner walks away without a scratch, riding the luck he's built his life on - that he doesn't deserve at all. But it'll run out one day, and his real side will have to show and perform. Then, oh dear.

^ no rich dude's going to buy it for their spoilt son, an M3 yeah sure, but not a an rs500.

An enthusiast will buy it though. I like it a lot, 25k for it is steep though.
