Mk 2 172 Engine Mount

think mine is just starting to go, one of the lower ones i think, i have herd the most common one to go is the one that is shapped like a dog bone ?

has any one had theres changed ? any idea on a cost for getting it done ? i think the part is about £43 inc vat from renault. ??

yes, but i don't know which mount it was. I'm about as mechanically minded as a tea bag.

i got mine changed last month at the cost of £160 which not sure if thats good or not.

Dogbone is a common failure only as said £40 or so easy to change 20 minutes tops only 2 bolts hold it on.

you where had! i changed mine myself for uprated powerflex one cannot see why it would have cost that much, no more than £100 MAX! surely

i replaced my dogbone last week, only cost 10.50 from renault. Real easy to fit aswell.

justin how did you know your mount was going mate what are the factors noises etc etc cheers buddy need to know if mine has gone as i was told it was the driveshaft but it wasnt

well under hard acceleration from standing, in 1st gear , there is a vibration from the engine bay which is intermitant. before i order any bits though i will get it checked out.

any news mate dont think mine is the same it is not intermitant it is a harsh knocking noise from the front passenger side that only really happens if you are on a hill and you go into reverse and lift the clutch to quickly and same when pulling away on the straight in the morning..what could this be guys?

I have done the dog bone and the top drivers side and it still does it, gearbox next!
