didnt realise they had an alarm my doesn't and no its not an import 172 mk1 on a y 2001

How do I check it has the imobiliser but didnt think it had an alarm ?

nope
and it don't beep when i press the key fob ?

They don't beep, if the motion sensors aren't there, as you said, you aint got one.
