mk1 172 induction kit question

Does the mk1 have a vacuum control solenoid/acoustic valve like the mk2 172 that needs removing when fitting an induction kit?

Dont think it does mate, think the acoustic valve came in on the ph2 172

No frilly bits just an engine, some wheels and a propper throttle cable, none of the faff they stick on the later models
