Probably could think of better times for the b@stard to go on me but it's stopped working, I took the blower out of the dash and a few layers of skin off too as it's such a tight fit.

Well the lead at the back of it is burnt in one section and I think one of the wires has a break in it somewhere as it works when I wiggle them, would it be safe to get the multimeter out find out which wire has the break cut in where its under no pressure (i.e at the top so i doubt it'll have a break there) and resoilder the new wire into the connector?

Okay had another look at it almost certain it's a break in the wire, would it be safe if I cut the wire as far up as I could resoilder a new piece of wire onto the end of the bit I cut and connect the new wire up to the wire left just before the connector.

So basically just replacing the middle piece of wire where the break is with a new piece.
