mk1 brake converstion

  BMW M135i & E46 M3
Hi, my brakes are on their way out on my 1.4 maxim so thought i'd upgrade them to williams, valver ones.
basically i was just wondering what the difference was between my ones now and the williams/valver ones?
and also how easy are these brakes to source and for a good price?
cheers
Liam

same callipers as any mk 2 16v clio.. i.e 1.2 16v - 1.4 16v - 1.6 16v

so easy to find, £40 a pair or something. (ask fred at yozzasport, i'm sure he has a set)

As to how to make them fit your car i have no idea. (never played with a mk1)

You would also need the larger discs 259mm, caliper brackets, obv pads. thats about it! pretty easy conversion to do, might need to buy some new rubber seals for the slider pins on the calipers as they are often fcked but these can be had fairly cheap also.
