MK1 Front Speakers HELP!!

hi, just bought some speakers to go in my door, i havent got door speakers at the moment but i got the wiring in the doors from a RT.. Any way is there any way i can get new speaker wiring into the door because i cant see a way, only to use the origional wiring which i guess wont sound as good...

i did this, it goes up under the dash, below the vent by the doors! then theres a rubber connector that connects the door to car and the wires go through there in2 the speakers! Simple

i know that but i was thinking of rewiring it because the origional wiring is crap, i was thinking of drilling the doors......but woundered what other people think and if any body else had done this

Mate, you can drill holes in the connectors that feed the factory wires into the doors. Ive done this on my RT. Ive got a couple of pics, Ill put them up when I get home cos Im at work at the mo.

Heres the pics that I promised. Basically just pull apart the connectors in the door and find a spare pin hole in the male connector (This will make a bit more sence once you have the connector off!). Then drill out a hole in each one and run the cable through. Its a pig of a job tbh and if your running off the HU Id stick to the standard cable for now. Anyways heres the pics...

oh yeh, i forgot about that bit! jus drill through it, quite simple really!
