mk1 poor rear braking

  rallyspec 1.4 & 1.8 16v
my mk1 16v has been lacking a bit on rear brake power since iv had it.
thought I would change the pads a couple of weeks ago as they were starting to get down.
now they've settled in its even worse and the fronts are getting a little hot due to the rears not doing alot.
im going to adjust the bias tomorow and hopefully that will sort it out, will probably change the fluid too as im not sure when that was last done.
anyone else had similar problems?

It's not the bias valve it's the control unit which constantly siezes. It's just the way that it is with these cars. I cannot remember how much a new one is but that's the way to go with it. Log onto www.williamsclio.co.uk/forum and have a search/post on there. Just mk1 based. Prob find some more help.

  Dodgy one
Spray lube + Vise Grips and give it a wiggle on the Valve, Hopefully it'l sort your problem out :) Used to have the same problem on my 306

  ITB'd MK1
bleed the system and see if fluid comes through on the rears ok. Mine didn't at all and the valve was completely seized solid.

well it free'd up quite nicely, they needed adjusting as well though.
now I just need to find out the right bias without any access to rollers for a few weeks.

I thought it was more like 25%?
I like it a little snappy to make LFB a little bit easier on the gearbox.
