there was a severe whining/groaning noise that developed from the front of my mates 1.4 mk1 (s). and the rear wheel bearings were a bit noisy so we changed both rear bearings and also the n/s front as this appeared to be where the noise was coming from (and got louder when turning right or on roundabouts). But its still making the exact same noise, it happened pretty suddenly and happens all the time while your driving but as i say gets marginally worse when you take a right hand bend or quieter when you take a left hand bend..... im guessing diff bearing or something... any suggestions?
