Mk2 dash board top removal?

I know we used to have a diy guide to this on the old site. does anybody have a link to this as a friend wants me to print this off so he can remove his.

i'de be very interested in knowing this too..
 
im getiign fed up of writing this , but

the 2 pillars that are either side of the windscreen pul out about 1 cm , them push the clip in with a screw driver now they come out

now if u goto the air vents that do the windscreen , theres 3 screws

at either end of the dash theres 1 screw with a plug pull them out

then infront of yer stearing wheel , the top that goes over the colum if u push it up and towards yer dials it will unclip, u will see 2 screws undo them

next the 2 silver strips e.g passenger side "airbag" pull these off , and undo the screws 4 in total.

next grab the dash firmly and pull towards u

done

AH! That's where I went wrong! (I forgot the pillar clips).

Thank god I didn't force-it even more, or I might have broken something!!
