mk2 dynamique alloy - bolt cover issue

Hi All,

Following a run-in with a pot hole I have recently bought a replacement alloy (mk2 dynamique, the 'swirly' one, not the 15" version of the 172 alloy)
from RenParts (would definitely recommend them).

However when I have gone to put the plastic centre cover back on the bolt seems to be stiff. Did they have different threads on the bolt/alloys?

Would be very surprised if the threads are diffetent, french/europeans all use ISO metric. Japs use wierd fine pitch threads.

Reckon threads are corroded-know anyone with a tap set who can clean the thread out? Otherwise use some grease to help it in-don't force it as you may never get it back out again!

Yeah that's what I thought too, I reckon I can get hold of a set of tap- Cheers!
