Mk2 Ph1 Immobiliser Questions (Removal)

Hey guys I need to remove the immobiliser from a Mk2 Ph1 Clio (I'm breaking the car so am just looking to take the part out).

Has anyone written a guide to do this on the forum?

If not can someone please help me out with the location and instructions on removal please.

Cheers!

James.

Lol, you can't start a car without that though!

It's all coded into the ECU, decoder ring and key!

Why would you want to remove it, it doesn't do anything unless you have the ECU, decoder and key to match it all.

Not if he desolders the eeprom and virginises the file he won't.

There's also other uses for that particular immobiliser. Spare parts on the board, soldering practice, pin code extraction practice, algorithm development...
