mk2 ph2 1.2 suspension help

sorry i know this has been covered before but i cant find what im looking for in the search part.

i want to lower my car either 40 or 60mm, what make of springs do people recommend? as ive heard some settle differently, some are a harsher ride etc. and that some lower differently to what they say ? anyway,

ive seen Pi springs, eibachs, gmax, apex. what would people recommend? and what is the difference between sportline and pro springs ? thanks guys.

Id go for eibach sportlines they lower a bit more than prolines.

how low can i go just on springs before having to buy new dampers? looking at 60mm drop max

Wouldn't got lower then sportlines on standard shocks. 60mm is too low IMO on standard shocks.

think 40mm or so will be perfect after looking today, 40mm would go on standard shocks fine yeah? just dont want to buy them and then find out they dont fit.

with coilovers, will any ones with the right spacing fit ? or do i need specific clio ones?
