MK2 Ph2 Dials Question

hi, the Dynamiques/172 come with the dials with the red needles and silver surround where the expression/authentique come with the white dials and black surround.

what im wondering is, is it possible to swap the surrounds and needles? as ive got a expression with shitty looking dials but just bought a dynamique set on ebay, i know i could just change the actual dials over but i want to keep my millage etc. (mine is at 132k, new ones are at 11k lol)

i think you can swap the surround

but the needles you can deffinatly change as i got some white ones off an auto on mine

just the answer i was looking for cheers, was sure you could as i remember someone selling a surround on here.

anyone got any guides or tips to help?

it's straight forward once you got the dials infront of you

think you need something like a T10 torx driver to take them apart

With the aid of a fork as leverage yeah I beleive so

i bought that surround martin and swapped it no probs
