Felt like being a bit of a perfectionidt today so went and cleaned under the spare tyre in my mk2 ph3 Clio Extreme.
Its obvious that at some point water has made its way in here as evidently there is a bit of rust bubbling in some spots. I used a bottle of warm soapy water and an old towel for cleaning thsi up and Im happy with how its turned out.
Interesting to see the original blue tinge the paint had when the car was new, it looks a lot more grey now after 20 years in the sun.
It was nice to discover the spare wheel is fitted with a Continental which actually appears to have no cracks in the rubber.
Anyone know what those grey rectangular sticky patches are for, let me know if you have any idea 👍.
