Mk2 Rear Seatbelt 'hook'

Not really sure what they're called, so I'll call it the rear seatbelt hook.

Basically the small plastic hook thats in the top corner of the rear seats surrounding the seat release button, which secures the seatbelts. Mine was snapped clean off last night...

can these be bought seperately from Renault?

Yes mate they can, seen this before on here.
Have a dig about but they are definitely available.

Get a pic up of the bit you're talking about. I've still got my rear interior up in the loft, can send it to you.

This is the bit thats broken off... the other half is the surround for the rear seat release.

If you have it spare, it'll be hugely appreciated.

When the pre tensioner went off on my rear bench this snapped. So if you find the part number can you post it up, so we can all go out and buy new ones .
I might beat you to the part number though :rasp:

they're £20 each (!) and i believe you need to strip the upholstery to fit them.

Worth it IMO. Looks uber untidy at the moment! My seats are out as changing pre tensioners and wanted easy access anyway!

would be interested in knowing how easy they are to fit as one of mine snapped under a PT'd belt as well - just went with super glue, but would consider replacing it if it's a problem

oh, sorry mate, just checked the spare i have and its from the rear passenger side.

to get them out is a b**ch. I had to use pliers and literally yank it out in pieces untill it wasnt secured in any more. The new one will just slot in and lock in place, though.
