Mk3 Ball Joints (Non sport)

Right iv got my missus' mate car in for a pair ball joints on her Mk3 1.2, iv never worked on one of these so im unsure on how you get the bottom arm off, the subframe is stopping me even getting one bolt loose, never mind out.

Is it possible to do these on the ground with minimal skin loss?
We have no lift atm so dropping the subframe is a no go as i cba doing that on the ground.

Why couldnt they use the same ball joint design as the Mk2! Useless Cnuts :mad:

Sorted it, i didnt notice the subframe is in 2 parts, u just need to take the front subframe bolts out and the front part drops down giving you access to the bolts :eek:
