Mk3 wiper removal

Daft question, but I cannot for the life of me get the front wiper blades off my clio. :clown:

Is it just a question of squeezing those clips together and the wiper blade should pop off, or am I missing something?

If they are like mine then they are like hooks which should just pull off with a good tug
