Seriously though, for what is just a way to get a little more life out of the old dog until the new Clio comes out, increasing the wheelsbase isnt going to be a small change. Surely they would require changes to body pannels too? Or maybe they just widened the shut lines a few mm here and there.;)

Increased track is easy, but wheelbase!

"The wheelbase has been increased by 13 mm

(2,485mm instead of 2,472mm for the previous

version); the track has been widened by 12mm at

the front and by 16mm at the rear. These changes

have resulted in greater stability and improved

cornering grip."

Maybe its the new suspension arms mentioned on the rear, and up front the new hub design it is only 13mm so its not like its been streched.

The new gearbox is interesting from what i can work out it tops out at 155mph now (in theory 20.73mph/1000rpm in 5th)
