I want a bit more depth the my sterio, theres nowt wrong with the standard one in my 172, but i just want more bass, How can i wire up a small sub/amp combo to the existing sterio, dont want to cut loads of wires tho, can i take a feed off a rear speaker to feed the amp, I suppose the amps LPF/HPF i forget which one does what, will remove the high frequences. only want something like an 8" sub.

not ideal to run any size sub without an amp, the sub sucks a lot of power thats why they run direct from the amp, i would suggest doing a boot job there not hard and if u jusat do some homework then you can have it fitted in 30 mins from scratch, i got a 10" sub and amp with all wires and if you fancy coming somwhere up northeast way then ill sell you it and fit it £50 is a steal

sry read the post wrong you want to take a power feed, yea you could but im sure sumet to do with the fuse will fuk things up if anything goes wrong,,, make sure you have a really good earth then it shud be ok
