Well, no waiting.. I was sat in the car turning lights on etc.. then turning wheel, braking etc.. whilst bloke checked it - was quite cool! I hate waiting about.
He was talking to me about the car too.. which was nice.. heh.
lucky b*gger,mine failed! insecure front subframe,insecure ball joint,rear brake valve is siezed!hopefully not 2 expensive tho,its goin back in on thursday
I Have been doing MOTs on cars for 10 years now, 3 years on Renault, must say that renos are usually pretty good when it comes to mot time, common things I find are
Brake hoses split, Siezed brake valves, defective brakes(badly pitted discs, rear brakes leaking fluid), broken road springs, blown shocks, ball joints, anti-roll bar bushes, split CV boots and rack boots.
Very rarely get a rusty one in.
Most of the items above are easy to fix.
The list sounds a lot but when you compare it to some other makes it aint to bad.
