Motomec gt03 install

Hi, I'm just trying to fit my new gt03 bucket seat to my car. I've got the supplied rails that motomec do. I'm just having problems getting the rails to go far enough apart to get the seat in. I've started opening out the slots to try and make it fit, but they need to go out quite a bit further to allow the seat to fit.

I'm just wondering if anybody has had the same issue with this? Also they are mounting to the Jon fos rails.

When using OMP subframes in a MK3 we had to re-drill them to get the seat side frames to fit, could this be a straight forward option ?
