Motor trade/Oil question

Trying to save some money as its a bit quiet in work. With working in the motor trade i can aquire some oil and a filter. Just wondered if anyone who works in the trade does the same? Stuff we use in work is Quantum from TPS (v/w) or carlube from the factors. I will be doing a trackday at the end of the month.

My job is great!

Oil and filter changes - cheap, and the rest of the stuff I can get from work = cheap too

Working in the motor does have to have it's benefits sometimes!

Same here, castrol fully synthetic 5w40 for £2 a litre and filters for £1.50 I can't go wrong! Don't have a clio to put it in at the minute but I'm looking for another lol.

yes even though, don't have the commitment to do my own stuff like i used to!!

not in the trade as such

i get almost everything free from work

brake fluid
gear box oil
coolant
oil
cv boots and grease
and as much loctite/ consumables as needed ect
and the occasional bit of fuel

Don't put Castrol in a 1*2 engine...they don't like it too much.
