Mould type crap on my bonnet!!help!

Just picked up a new bonnet which the previous owner had sitting around at home, all down one side theres this dry mould looking stuff that wont come off, feels rough when you rub your hand over it like it needs to be scraped off but it wont budge, any ideas how to get it off?

Dont have any clay, any other ideas?

Clay would take it off easily and not damage the paint. Other than that, rub harder than ususal with a sponge and hot water with soap.

You could speak to a valeter and get him/her to TFR it then jet it with a hot steamer. That would probably work.

Hot soapy water , if it's dry it probably just needs softening up .
