Mountune Milltek into a 182

I'm hoping to be able to get an exhaust specalist to modify this Mountune Milltek muffler from a Ford Focus XR5 to fit my 182.

Dimensions are - 550mm long, 300mm wide, 150mm deep, 70mm inlet, 50mm outlets, 100mm tip diameter

The tips are quite large, but I might be able to utilise them also. They should just fit into the cutouts on the rear bumper I think. I've done a rough measure up, and the muffler should fit into the gap left from the factory units pretty easily. Obviouslly the piping would be removed and redone to fit the Clio.

I haven't bought it yet, but hoping it could be a cheaper alternative to upgrade my exhaust. We don't have a lot of choice all the way down here for exhausts on these cars !

Any thoughts ?

Seems a lot of effort if you ask me, just buy a Clio 182 exhaust..

Sounds like a lot more hassle than its worth, especially when there are plenty of off the shelf exhausts.

Yes, this is the problem. I would need to import something from the UK/USA and it costs big $$. This is 2nd hand, if I can get it at a resonable price and then add a few hundred $$ for the labour to fit, then I am winning

It would be easier to get an exhaust shop to custom make the full system wouldn't it?

It's the Milltek backbox I'm interested in. Well if I get it, will post up my opinion on it

I really just wanted to see if people thought it would fit.

Ring a uk exhaust specialist and arrange to have one made and shipped most uk places are £180 for just the back box it'll save wasting money and possibly ruining a decent back box.. Give prospeed a shout or longlife exhausts I'm sure they'll ship at cost
