Mpg..

Hey there, i have a 1.2 16v clio mk2 which i have replaced the back box with a peco one, it says on the trip that im doing about 40.3 mpg which is terrible for a 1.2, what i wanted to know is 40mpg from a 1.2 about average or is it because of my exhaust.:boring:

That's not terrible for an old 1200 clio.

Anyway 40-48mpg is about right for a 1.2 16v engine. Depends on how the car is being drive, town motorway etc.

However my 182 is just as good as my old 1.2 16v on fuel. I see 38-43mpg on my commute to work!

Other than making it sound like a fart in a can, I doubt a back box will do much.
