much more nooise from a ph1/jms airbox?

Reason i took off my decat was because at 6am letting my car warm up for 10 minutes wasnt liked by neighbors due to how loud the thing was with decat lol.

I want a jms or a ph1 air box but do they make much more if any noise at tickover and when driving?

I had a knn 57i on my old 1.2 and you couldnt even hear it at tickover but when you put the foot down it really did sound good, but obviously that was open cone so is gonna sound different.

So basically i just want it to be loud when i give it some beans but quiet at tickover and seatdy driving which the decat was not ha.

Any air intake mod will only make serious noise when you're giving it some stick.

yeh i thort so. on the 1.2 the induction just used to make a sort of hissing sound at idle which did sound good actually in a wierd way lol.
