Hope you're talking about the centre silencer and not the backbox.

Yes it pops and bangs, if you can live with it that’s ok but be warned it’s loud even from inside the car

Why don't you just get a good full catback exhaust system? Are you running a decat as it is?
I don't understand why you would want to chop off the box.

The problem is i need the center silencer for the inspection because its a requirement for the car to pass but its fine i removed the back box

You could run it as a straight pipe, then build the silencer around it but not doing anything. Or completely gut the silencer

If i like the sound of the back box delete i will keep it if i want more loud then i will just straight pipe it
